About Bistro Thai
Located at 2655 Richmond Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314, Bistro Thai operates as a thai restaurant serving Staten Island in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Staten Island, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across New York run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 AMβ7 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (718) 761-6666. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, statenislandmall.com.
Its Google rating stands at 3.4 out of 5 from 57 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.
Staten Island is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Staten Island peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

It feels like they don't know what Thai cuisine is. The meat isn't tasty. There are no vegetables. It's spicy, even though I asked for it to be mild. I'll remove this review only after I get my money back because I'm very unhappy with the lunch that ended up in the trash.

Extremely tasty food and great non-oily dark fried rice. Black pepper chicken and spicy bourbon chicken are delicious.

This take-out Thai spot is so good. I always get the same Lo Mein combo with the Thai Salt Pepper Chicken and it slaps. I used to get the shrimp here (upcharge $2 or $3) but it fell off so hard. It's not worth the upcharge at all. Their Lo Mein is so flavorful and although I wish they gave more, it is soooo worth your $. I used to go to Master Wok/Sarku Japan more frequently but the moment I gave this spot a try, I haven't been anywhere else. Whenever I want SI Mall food, this is my go-to.

I bought the miso soup and vegetables. I never did like the taste of miso soup, however I was extremely nauseous so I decided to buy it and honestly it helped! The nausea feeling went away in about 30 mins! I was so relieved happier that I felt better on that nice day.

First time I tried a sample and it's delicious. Confident lemon chicken and the lo mein was good and a pork egg roll. All of it was $14.88. I might order from them again when I come back. Good for spending $20 or with the amount of money I have. πππ₯’π₯‘
